Ideen, Ansprüche und Praxis – Ausgangspunkte für eine neue Auseinandersetzung mit christdemokratischen Parteien

Abstract

In den Debatten über die Erosion von Demokratie und den Veränderungen politischer Parteien durch Populismus entsteht ein
neues Interesse an konservativen und christdemokratischen Parteien. Dabei werden Fehlstellen in der politikwissenschaftlichen
Forschung zu diesen Parteienfamilien und insbesondere eine Unsicherheit im Umgang und in der Bewertung ihrer ideellen
Grundlagen sichtbar. Diese können aber auch in den Parteien selbst nicht mehr vorausgesetzt werden. Dieser Artikel diskutiert
die Schwierigkeiten sowohl der parteiinternen Auseinandersetzung als auch der politikwissenschaftlichen Forschung anhand
von drei exemplarischen Büchern, die im Zeitraum 2018-2022 erschienen sind.

  1. The author retains the copyright to the article.
