Der Fall Hypo Alpe Adria: Wie können wir aus Fehlern lernen?

The report of the Griss-Commission shows that the fiasco of the Hypo Alpe Adria bank is the result of the Austrian political system’s failure rather than the misconduct of single persons or institutions. Therefore the question is dealt with how the Austrian political system can be reformed in order to learn better from failures. Several decisive factors are drawn from the research on policy learning and a number of related problems in Austrian politics are discussed.
